H3O Social Manager Privacy Notice

H3O Social Manager is an internal tool operated by H3O to prepare, schedule and publish content on H3O's own Facebook Page and professional Instagram account. It is intended for authorized H3O administrators, not for public sign-up.

Information the tool handles

When an authorized administrator connects Meta accounts, the tool handles the administrator's account identifier and granted permissions, the connected Page and Instagram identifiers and names, and access tokens needed to perform the approved actions. It also stores H3O's draft captions, selected media links, publication schedules, publishing status and the identifiers and URLs of published content. It may retrieve H3O's recent public posts to verify publication.

How information is used

This information is used to connect the correct H3O accounts, publish the content authorized by H3O administrators, prevent duplicate posting, and diagnose failed publishing attempts. The tool does not sell this information. It does not automatically send direct messages or make advertising purchases.

Storage and sharing

Access credentials are stored separately from content files on H3O-controlled systems, restricted to authorized operators. Content selected for publication is transmitted to Meta and becomes subject to the audience and visibility settings of the destination account. Public media links used for publishing must be accessible to Meta while processing the content. Media generation services receive only the materials supplied for the requested creative work; Meta access tokens are not sent to them.

Retention and removal

Credentials are retained while needed for the connection and can be removed by an authorized administrator. Drafts and publishing records are retained while needed to manage H3O's content and resolve publishing issues. H3O reviews and removes records when they are no longer needed, subject to applicable legal requirements.

Removing a connection from this tool does not itself delete content already published on Facebook or Instagram. Such content can be managed on the relevant platform.
